As the national "14th Five-Year Plan" key power transmission project, the project is the first full-capacity UHV flexible straight project in China. After the completion of the project, Zhejiang will add 8 million kilowatts of power supply capacity, support Zhejiang's clean energy and help the green and low-carbon economic and social development.

This year, the State grid Zhejiang Electric Power proposed to build a strong main network of resource allocation, increase the investment in major power projects, is expected to invest more than 32.7 billion in power grid construction, a new high of the "14th Five-Year Plan", plans to start 110 kV and above transmission lines 3003 kilometers, substation capacity 25.84 million kVA.
